I don't bleed blue like I did when I was a kid up until my early 30's but I am a big baseball fan and glad to be on board.

Saw and talked to Sandy Koufax in 1961 and have been a Dodgers fan since. I also was at game 3 of the 1963 world series when Dodgers swept the Yankees in 4 games. Koufax got MVP that series and again when they won in 1965.  I Bleed Blue go Dodgers !!

I think M&L are Dodger fans - so hopefully when the season starts they'll add some time on the show for some baseball talk.

I never saw him pitch in person, but I used to work with Sandy and his wife when I was in the SLO County Special Olympics board. Ann Koufax was the board president. Sandy was a chain smoker at the time. He told me he used to sneak into the clubhouse between innings and light one up while he was pitching.

I talked to Sandy Koufax several times when I was a kid he was always fun to talk to never rushed you off like a lot of today's players of course then they still played for the game not the money. He signed my 63 world series program.
